First launch will be blocked. That is expected.
Sill is signed with a Developer ID, but it is not notarised — Apple's notary service never saw this build — so macOS refuses to open it until you say so yourself. Once:
- Open Sill. macOS says it could not be verified — click Done.
- Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security and scroll to the bottom.
- Next to "Sill was blocked", click Open Anyway and authenticate.
- Open Sill again. It launches, and never asks again.
Point at the past
Hover any moment on the wave and it reports what the machine was doing then — and names the process, if one was eating it.
Survives your wallpaper
The desktop under the band is measured in slices, so the strands darken over bright patches and lighten over dark ones as they go.
Asks for nothing
No permission prompts, no privileged helper, no admin password. It stops sampling entirely when nothing can see it.
